Founded in 2019, TechSavannah was born from a simple observation: African businesses had incredible potential but lacked access to technology solutions that understood their unique context.
Our Beginning
TechSavannah started as a small team of African developers and entrepreneurs who saw the gap between global technology solutions and local business needs. We believed that technology should adapt to African contexts, not the other way around.
Our first projects were with local retailers in Nairobi who needed simple but effective POS systems that worked with mobile money and handled intermittent internet connectivity.
Our Growth
As word spread about our practical, effective solutions, we expanded across East Africa, then West Africa, and eventually across the continent. Each new market taught us valuable lessons about local business practices, payment preferences, and infrastructure challenges.
We grew from a team of 3 to over 25 talented professionals across development, design, business development, and customer success.
